Wisdom Circle 2.0 is a monthly gathering of teachers who want to be the change they hope to see in their schools. Developed in collaboration with SFPS teachers and under the guidance and inspiration of Academy founder and president Aaron Stern, the circles offer an open, structured forum to support, inspire, and make public teachers’ efforts to effect positive pedagogical change in their schools.

Wisdom Circle 2.0, along with the Teacher Renewal Saturday series, the annual Teacher Renewal Summer Institute, and El Otro Lado in the Schools, are offered for free to local area teachers through the Academy’s Institute for Teaching. Wisdom Circle 2.0 is facilitated by Dr. Lisa Faithorn, a long-time faculty member of the Academy. Participating teachers should sign up for and commit to all nine meetings, and plan on rotating responsibility for bringing snacks. The Academy will provide coffee and tea.
