El Otro Lado in the Schools Cohort Gathering

During this all day gathering Teaching Artists and teachers come together to learn about the El Otro Lado guide and experiences and begin the collaborative work through the Academy Learning Practice. El Otro Lado in the Schools brings classrooms alive through story-based, arts-rich experiential learning in Santa Fe Schools. El Otro Lado matches classroom teachers with artists to engage in a yearlong exploration of family identity and culture, sense of home and belonging, and unique stories. Through sharing stories, teachers and students learn to see each other in new ways.
