Come be a part of the Lifesongs experience

The Lifesongs Community Choir is an inclusive community group that learns and shares the songs of our elders. It is for anyone with the desire to sing and harmonize with others.

Directed by Angela Gabriel and Amy Lindquist, the choir meets every Monday night. Vocal technique, four-part harmonies, chants, rounds, and improvisation are developed every week.

No choral experience is necessary, free of charge.

Venue: 1528 La Cieneguita (near Frenchy’s Field Park)

Lifesongs is an intergenerational arts project that promotes social inclusion and dignity for elders and people in hospice care. Central to the Lifesongs process is the artist-facilitated creation of original musical works by people in nursing homes and hospice care.

Lifesongs engages youth and community members in the interactive creative process and hosts public events that increase awareness and engagement with the processes of aging and dying.
