Event Details

Date: December 21st - December 15th, 2015
Time: Multi-day Event
Location:

Qigong is a sacred physical practice that originated in ancient China, and which works with the physical, the energetic, and the spiritual body through gentle movements and the concentration of the imaginative mind. The movements are simple to follow and possible for anyone of any age or physical ability.

This beautiful form, created by Zhenzan Dao, the founder of the MogaDao Institute, is designed to help us transition from the deepest, inward Yin energy to the most expressive, outward Yang energy. It is therefore the perfect form to practice ritually at the Winter Solstice, the darkest time of year, when we can inwardly begin to prepare for Spring and the coming light.

We will start with an explanation of what we are doing and some simple warm-up exercises before practicing the qigong form in silence, led by MogaDao Institute teachers. We welcome anybody to join, including those who have never practiced qigong before.
