An Important Update from the Academy for the Love of Learning
The Academy for the Love of Learning has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and given that the New Mexico School System has moved to cancel classes for the next few weeks, and our own concern for the wellbeing of our staff and the communities we serve, we have decided to take the following actions:
We will be cancelling all programming through April 5th. This includes our March 25th Evening of Exploration, “Why Slowing Down Matters” and part 2 of our Teacher Renewal Spring Workshop series scheduled for March 28th. We will also be postponing the Lifesongs Concert and Conversation that was to be held April 5th at SITE Santa Fe. We will be monitoring the situation closely and may extend cancellations beyond this date as we reassess. Please check our website from time to time for updates. Our staff will be working from home through April 6th.
Our work at the Academy is about healing and connection. We hope to find other ways to connect during this disorienting time. Feel free to contact us at learn@aloveoflearning.org with any questions.
